The office of Mark A. Pigno, DDS is a quality oriented clinic that is unique in that it offers specialty care in Prosthodontics by a Board Certified Prosthodontist. A Prosthodontist* is a dentist recognized by the American Dental Association as a specialist in the restoration and replacement teeth.
As a prosthodontic specialty clinic, we are devoted to restoring natural teeth and replacing missing teeth with natural looking substitutes. Our primary goal is the preservation of a healthy smile and the creation of beautiful, natural, and functional tooth replacements. Serving as the "architect" of a dental treatment plan, we work in a partnership with other dentists and specialists in the region to develop solutions to our patients dental concerns. We offer comprehensive oral rehabilitation that may include dental implants, complete or partial dentures, extensive fixed (cemented) crowns/bridges and other restorative and cosmetic dentistry procedures. Realizing that many of our patients have complex and special needs, it is our intent to improve their well being by providing accurate diagnostic information and a thorough understanding of a proposed service. Ultimately, our goal is to attain preventive and treatment outcomes that will maintain and improve an individual's health in society. We provide prosthodontic dental services for Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, including Beaumont, Lake Charles and surrounding cities.
Our Prosthodontic Services Include:
In addition to conventional prosthodontic services, we also provide maxillofacial prosthetic treatment for individuals with oral defects. Indications for maxillofacial prosthetic treatment include oral cancer, trauma, and oral birth defects. Specialized prostheses are often needed in the management of these conditions to restore oral functions such as swallowing, speech, and chewing in instances where these functions are compromised.
